Chelsea midfielder van Ginkel set for PSV move

Dutchman Marco van Ginkel has admitted he is in negotiation with Chelsea over his future.

Chelsea bought the former Vitesse academy product for a reported £8 million in 2013, but the 24-year old has only managed four starts since moving to London.

van Ginkel joined PSV Eindhoven in January after previously spending the second half of 2015-2016 season at the Eredivisie club. He has also spent time on loan at AC Milan and Stoke City.

Despite having re-signed for three more years with the Blues in December 2016, van Ginkel's success in his current stint in Eindhoven has brought forward negotiations over a permanent move.

After PSV sporting director Marcel Brands confirmed the club were interested in signing van Ginkel, the midfielder told PSV's TV Channel that negotiations had begun.

"Everything is negotiable," he told

"I do not think so much about that. We will have to wait for the coming period.

"You have several camps involved in the matter. From myself, to Chelsea.

"I do not know what they all want. With all these things we will have to make a choice."
