Chelsea midfielder Marco van Ginkel admits Holland teammate Nigel de Jong had a big say in his move to AC Milan.

It was suggested Van Ginkel was signed by Milan to replace De Jong.

But he insists: "I talked to him about AC Milan and he told me good things about the club.

"I'm very happy with Milan. It's a big club where many Dutch footballers played, some big names too."

Van Ginkel has joined the Rossoneri on a season-long loan from Chelsea.
