Spartak Moscow have entered the race to sign Chelsea youngster Mario Pasalic, according to reports from ABC de Sevilla.

Pasalic joined Chelsea from Hadjuk Split in 2014 but the Croatian international is yet to feature for the Blues, spending the last three seasons out on loan at various clubs.

With the competition for places at Chelsea remaining fiercer than ever, Pasalic is expected to go out on another loan spell this summer and claims have been made that Russian side Spartak Moscow are set to challenge Real Betis for the signature of the 22-year-old.
