Chelsea midfielder Kasey Palmer is set to join Bristol City.

The Robins are close to finalising the third signing of their summer transfer window.

The 22-year-old does not want to go back out on loan.

He is not in manager Frank Lampard's plans for the first team, even though he has played in a few preseason games.

Per Goal.com, the player is set to sign permanently for Bristol in a £3.5 million deal.

Palmer was on loan with Bristol last term, where he impressed enough to earn their interest in completing a long term move.
