Chelsea midfielder Mason Mount offered no excuses after their Champions League defeat at Dinamo Zagreb.

Chelsea lost their group opener 1-0 in Croatia.

Mount said, "It is a big disappointment for us to start in this way. Of course, it's not over yet. The upcoming games are really important and especially our next home game will be vital in terms of turning the tables.

"We didn't take our chances, which is extremely important to do in the Champions League. It's about scoring on your chances and shutting down defensively. We have to look at our performance and come back a stronger and improved."
