Chelsea star John Obi Mikel is ready to end his nine-year career with the Blues and join Fenerbahce.
Turkish football programme Futbol Gunlugu revealed the Nigerian international has met with Fenerbahce chiefs about a move to Istanbul, claiming sporting director Giuliano Terraneo met with him in London to discuss terms.
Every Chelsea boss, including Jose Mourinho, has found Mikel to be useful at Stamford Bridge and Mourinho holds the player in high regard but is prepared to part ways for the good of the player.
Fenerbahce have already signed Manchester United winger Nani, and reports suggest Robin van Persie will also be joining him too.
