Chelsea midfielder Mateo Kovacic may be reunited with former boss Thomas Tuchel at Bayern Munich in the summer.

Incoming Chelsea boss Mauricio Pochettino wants to sign a no.6 for the club in the summer.

He believes the central midfield area of the team needs revamping, per Metro, which means that Kovacic may be surplus to requirements.

Bild has gone on to say that Tuchel also wants a deep-lying midfielder for his team.

He believes that Kovacic could do an outstanding job at Bayern, who do have a surplus of midfielders themselves.

Kovacic may come in as a replacement for Ryan Gravenberch, who wants to leave to pursue regular game time.
