Chelsea midfielder Ruben Loftus-Cheek was delighted with the reception he received from Crystal Palace's fans on Sunday.
The 22-year-old, who spent last season on loan at Palace, was an unused substitute during the 3-1 win for Chelsea. Nonetheless, Loftus-Cheek's name was sung from the away end.
"It was a really good reception from the Palace fans and when I was there, it was great," he said, speaking exclusively to football.london.
"The fans were great and it is one of the best atmospheres I have played in front of, so to hear them sing my name was a warming feeling.
"It is always good to see Roy [Hodgson], Ray [Lewington] and the boys. I thought they did well and they were unlucky.
"It was good to see some familiar faces and of course the Palace fans."
