Chelsea midfielder Ruben Loftus-Cheek is set to return to Crystal Palace in January.
The Daily Star says the midfielder forced his way into the England squad on the back of his performances on loan at Selhurst Park last season.
But the 22-year-old has been handed just 33 minutes of first team action since returning to Chelsea.
Loftus-Cheek did play for over an hour in Tuesday's international friendly with Switzerland - and indicated afterwards he would consider a return to Palace if he struggles to break through at Chelsea.
Palace boss Roy Hodgson said on Friday: “If the question is should Ruben Loftus-Cheek be made available in January, would Crystal Palace be interested in loaning him again, then the answer is yes."
But he added: “I can't answer 'is that what you are looking at', because how can I look at it?
“He is a Chelsea player, and I have got no idea if he is going to be available in January, so what can I look at?"
