Chelsea midfielder N'Golo Kante is set to return to first-team training this weekend.
The French midfielder has been plagued by injuries this season and he has been absent since returning from the international break this month.
He has not played since the 4-1 win at Southampton at the beginning of the month with a series of hamstring, knee and ankle knocks restricting him to just three Premier League starts this term.
But Chelsea boss Frank Lampard said: "He's going to hopefully join training in the next two or three days. Hopefully. He's important, he's a top player."
