Chelsea midfielder Jorginho believes he is experiencing a "very important moment" in his career.

The 26-year-old was signed from Napoli this summer for £57m. So far he has impressed with the Blues, playing every minute of their four Premier League games this season.

Jorginho has also begun to establish himself as a regular starter for Italy. And speaking after the Azzurri's loss to Portugal on Monday, he admitted he has reached a pivotal period in his career.

"This is a very important moment in my career, a crucial moment, even for my age," Jorginho said.

"I'm working hard to show that I'm getting all that trust. I am very happy."
