Chelsea midfielder Jeremie Boga is the subject of a bid from Sassuolo.
The Mirror says the Italians are in talks with Chelsea over a permanent deal for the exciting attacking midfielder, 21.
The two clubs are trying to settle on a fee with Serie A side Sassuolo currently offering £3m plus add ons while Chelsea are holding out for £5m.
Chelsea are also keen to secure a buy-back option in the deal for Boga, who also has also attracted interest from Turkey.
France-born Ivory Coast international Boga joined Chelsea in 2009 and has been tipped for big things, making his reserves debut aged just 15.
