Chelsea midfielder Callum Hudson-Odoi faces four months out as he faces Achilles surgery.
The Sun says he is hoping to be fit for the start of next season with Chelsea despite suffering a nightmare injury which could scupper his proposed £40million transfer to Bayern Munich.
The winger, 18, will undergo surgery in the next few days after confirming he has ruptured his Achilles tendon.
Hudson-Odoi was hurt in a freak accident during Chelsea's 2-2 draw with Burnley on Monday night.
He will enter a period of rehab after his op but is optimistic that with no complications he will be back in around three to four months.
