Chelsea midfielder Cesare Casadei says he has no regrets leaving Inter Milan last summer.
Casadei, who spent the second-half of the season on-loan with Reading, is starring with Italy at the U20 World Cup.
He told Il Corriere dello Sport: "The Blues always invest in young players and I am grateful for the opportunity. It was a choice of career and life that I would recommend because going abroad opens your mind.
"At the beginning it is not easy, I had to adapt to a different culture. I am overcoming the language barrier with an English teacher who follows me.
"And then there they are not afraid to throw you in: I almost immediately trained with the Chelsea first team. I have never regretted leaving Inter, I would do everything I did again. I'm really good in England, playing as a starter in the Championship with Reading has allowed me to experience the football of the greats as a protagonist.
"Now I'm going back to Chelsea to play for my chances."
