Tiemoue Bakayoko says he returns to AS Monaco an improved player.

The Chelsea midfielder returns to ASM after two years away.

He said, "I talked with the whole club before coming here, I weighed the pros and cons.

"I think it was a good opportunity for me to come back to Monaco, there is a very good project so I think it made sense.

"Anyway, I thought one day I'd be back in Monaco.

"Last season with Milan, in a new championship, brought me a lot in many areas. In terms of professionalism and many things, I have evolved enormously."
