Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel is eyeing a move for more than one centre-back this summer.
The Blues have put five defenders on their shortlist for the centre-half position, as they look to replace the likes of Antonio Rudiger and Andreas Christensen.
According to Goal.com, the likes of Marc Cucurella is a target, as he could replace want-away veteran Marcos Alonso at full-back.
The club are also eager to sign one or two of Sevilla's Jules Kounde, RB Leipzig's Josko Gvardiol, Atletico Madrid's Jose Gimenez and Paris Saint-Germain's Presnel Kimpembe for the centre-back spot.
Chelsea do have a lot of money available to spend, after their takeover by LA Dodgers co-owner Todd Boehly's consortium was completed.
The Blues may also be after attacking signings, as they are likely to send striker Romelu Lukaku back to Inter Milan after a disappointing season.
