Chelsea manager Tuchel pushed about Super League: I don't know enough

Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel has ducked questions about the Super League breakaway today.

The Blues, along with the rest of the Premier League's 'Big Six' and leading clubs from Spain and Italy, were announced on Sunday night as founder members of the breakaway league.

Tuchel said: "I trust my club to make the right decisions. It is too early to judge everything and it is not my part. On my badge, it says everybody has to play their role and my role is coach."

Tuchel added that he only found out about Chelsea's involvement on Sunday.

While many high-profile figures in football have expressed their disappointment with the Super League, Tuchel admits that he doesn't yet know enough about the plans.

He said: "There are way too many opinions out there... let's be honest, I am an employee of this club. I can understand you are curious, there are emotional reactions out there but I honestly don't know enough."
