Maurizio Sarri regrets he never got a real opportunity to say farewell to Napoli players when he left this summer to join Chelsea.

The Italian manager is still very supportive of his old side and believes they can continue to develop and reach the goal of winning the Serie A.

"It all happened so quickly, I didn't get a chance to say goodbye to the players," Sarri said to Il Mattino.

"I want to do it now and say, 'You are extraordinary lads. Continue like this, because you can do it and achieve that dream we only glanced."
