Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri says he will not return N'Golo Kante to his natural holding midfield position because the Frenchman cannot "move the ball very fast."
The Italian has Jorginho, who worked under him at Napoli, as his deep-lying midfielder.
And a recent poor run of results will not change Sarri's decision to move Kante further forward.
"In that position, I want a player able to move the ball very fast," he said at a press conference.
"This is not the best characteristic of N'Golo. N'Golo is very useful for us, but this one is not his best characteristic."
It was pointed out that Kante has won a World Cup and two Premier League titles, to which Sarri replied: "But in another system."
