The futures of Chelsea pair Levi Colwill and Armando Broja are yet to be settled.
Broja and Colwill are understood to have hoped to see their situations resolved before the Blues' pre-season tour of the United States.
But both Chelsea chiefs and the two youngsters are thought to be realistic about the demands of the west London club's hectic off-field summer, says PA Sport.
Talks were set to continue between Chelsea and Broja and Colwill, with the Blues due to jet out to Los Angeles for a training camp on Saturday ahead of three pre-season fixtures.
Broja's agents are seeking clarity with clubs queuing to buy him, while Colwill is a loan target for several Premier League clubs. He spent last season with Huddersfield.
