Chelsea are eyeing Sassuolo midfielder Manuel Locatelli.
TMW says Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel is keen on increasing competition among his midfielders and is interested in bringing another one in.
Locatelli was a member of the AC Milan academy from the age of 11 and made his debut in the 2016/17 season.
However, he was not seen as a starter and was loaned out to Sassuolo with an option to buy and has been impressive ever since.
The 23-year-old has played 34 games in Serie A this season, scoring four goals and picking up three assists.
The Blues are expected to fight off interest from Manchester City who also are impressed by the winger and look at him as a Fernandinho replacement.
