Chelsea have made an opening offer for PSG defender Presnel Kimpembe.
While happy to keep hold of Kimpembe this season, new PSG coach Christophe Galtier opened the door to the defender's sale last week.
Le 10 Sport says Chelsea have made an opening €45m cash bid for the France international. PSG are said to want €50m to sell.
Yesterday, Blues manager Thomas Tuchel said: “We need central defenders, at least two to replace Andreas (Christensen) and Toni (Rüdiger). We have Azpi (Cesar Azpilicueta) in our team at the moment and we are moving forward with him, but there are ongoing discussions about his personal situation and what we want.
"I think with Thiago (Silva) in the middle, Toni on the left and Azpi or Andreas (on the right), we had the three best defenders in the world."
