Chelsea make move for Burnley hitman Barnes

Chelsea have moved to Burnley's Ashley Barnes to finish their search for a target man.

The Englishman has scored four times in 26 outings for the Clarets this season.

According to reports, the Blues have enquired about Peter Crouch, Andy Carroll, Edin Dzeko and Fernando Llorente.

With Alvaro Morata having a tendency to be on the sidelines, Antonio Conte wants to throw a big target man up front.

His system fits perfectly for that type of player. Llorente, now at Tottenham Hotspur, played under the Italian at Juventus.

28-year-old Barnes moved to Turf Moor from Brighton in 2014.
