Chelsea star Danny Drinkwater is determined to have a successful loan spell at Aston Villa.
The loanee signed for the Villains for the rest of the season, as he hopes to get regular first team football.
Drinkwater will help Villa through an injury crisis, as the club is reeling after several key players were ruled out with long term injuries.
Drinkwater is 29 and struggled at Burnley in the first half of this season on another loan spell.
Speaking to VillaTV, he said: "I'm massively excited, especially with it being a club as big as Villa. It's a pleasure to be here and hopefully I can hit the ground running.
"Obviously, I want the club to stay in the Premier League, and personally I'm hoping for some game-time, which unfortunately didn't happen at my last club."
