Chelsea loanee Danny Drinkwater is back in training with Aston Villa.

The 30-year-old was involved in a serious bust up with a teammate, Jota, shortly before play was paused due to coronavirus.

While there was a suggestion that Villa could terminate the loan, the Daily Mail reports that Drinkwater is training with them.

It is unclear if he will be involved in matches, but Villa are in a relegation battle and they need all hands on deck.

His loan contract runs out on June 30th, and there is no indication the two clubs have agreed on an extension.

Most loan players would hope to see out the season with the clubs they are representing. But those contracts must be agreed on by both clubs.
