Borussia Dortmund wing-back Lukasz Piszczek has admitted admiration for the Premier League.

The young Pole was linked with Chelsea and Liverpool over the summer, along with Real Madrid.

Piszczek said: "The Premier League is so strong now they are looking for the best players no matter what country.

"Maybe it's not the best situation for English football itself - a success for the clubs, but not for the national team.

"Even if England still have some very good players, they are not capable of winning anything.

"Maybe opening a training centre is a good step. But it's a long process."
