Didier Drogba marked his first MLS start for Montreal Impact in the best possible fashion.
The veteran striker scored a hat-trick for the Canadian club, including the winner, in the 4-3 triumph over Chicago Fire at Saputo Stadium on the weekend.
In the wake of his brilliant performance, the Chelsea legend was praised by Impact boss Mauro Biello, who lauded the 37-year-old's desire.
"What can I say? What a performance from Didier," said Biello.
"He's such a committed person. He's won everywhere. He came here with a great spirit, with such a will to win. And we saw that tonight."
Drogue scored in the 27th, 61st and 65th minutes as the Impact came from 3-2 down to snatch all three points, allowing them to move into sixth position on the Eastern Conference table.
