Chelsea goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga has no regrets missing out on a move to Real Madrid.
Six months before joining Chelsea from Athletic Bilbao, Kepa was set to sign for Real before the move was blocked by their coach Zinedine Zidane.
He recalled: "There was too much talk. I had a few months in which you saw me every day in the media. It was a situation where I was free and I could listen to several important clubs in Europe. But I decided to renew and then I didn't have in mind that Chelsea would come in with €80m.
"It had a lot of focus on me for good as well as for bad."
Kepa also spoke of Eden Hazard's move from Chelsea to Real, adding: "He had the opportunity to stay at Chelsea and had the opportunity to come to Madrid. He will adapt well to LaLiga and Madrid. He has everything to succeed. For me he was the best player in the Premier.
"Now he has some players around him who are going to help him exploit his full potential."
