AS Roma defender Leandro Castan is interesting Chelsea.

TMW says Castan has been linked with Chelsea after persistent speculation about a move away from Stamford Bridge for David Luiz.

Late developer Castan, who previously had an aborted spell at Swedish side Helsingborg, played his way into Roma's first team last season after making a £4.75m-move from Corinthians and debuted for his country's national team in October.

Interestingly, Roma chief Walter Sabatini was in London last week for transfer talks with various clubs.
