Chelsea have joined the battle for PSG midfielder Adrien Rabiot.

Off contract in June, Rabiot is fielding bumper pre-contract offers from across Europe.

Rabiot's mother and agent, Veronique, has met with Barcelona, Tottenham and Manchester City about a departure from Paris in 2019.

But L'Equipe says the field has just become deeper with Chelsea and Bayern Munich also in contact.

The situation is creating problems inside PSG, where coach Thomas Tuchel is desperate for Rabiot to stay. However, sports director Antero Henrique is fed-up with the whole affair and would sooner move Rabiot on and find a replacement for the midfielder.
