Chelsea are interested in Porto midfielder Jesus Corona.
SIC Noticias says there is a clause in the Mexican's contract that will see his valuation fall year-on-year if the club does not sell him.
The report states that the Blues have been keeping an eye on Corona dating back to 2019 and would be interested in bringing the player to Stamford Bridge.
Last season, his agent also speculated that Chelsea were one of the clubs in contact with the player.
"They asked about his situation. But the same thing happened with other clubs, although none of them exercised a formal approach," he said.
The Mexican has made 40 appearances so far this season and has scored three goals and picked up 11 assists.
