Chelsea made a move for Spain coach Vicente del Bosque last summer, it has been revealed.

AS says Del Bosque courted interest from Chelsea and Inter Milan as both European giants underwent coaching changes at the end of last season.

However, Del Bosque is committed to his role with Spain and the Federation have plans to offer the former Real Madrid coach a new contract extension.
