Chelsea injury list piles up ahead of Spurs blockbuster

Chelsea are experiencing an injury crisis as they enter one of the most important stages of their season.

The Blues are facing a battle to finish in the top four (or five) and qualify for a UEFA Champions League position.

And they have a key clash at home against Tottenham, which comes on the back of a run of one win in six league games.

The Blues lost to Manchester United at home on Monday night.

Now they could have to face Spurs without N'Golo Kante, Callum Hudson-Odoi, Tammy Abraham, Andreas Christensen and Christian Pulisic.

All of them are doubts for the game, and manager Frank Lampard will hope that one or two can overcome last minute fitness tests to make the squad.

Kante is among their most significant concern, as the French midfielder did not last very long against United.

He came off with a groin problem, and Lampard will hope it is not a season defining injury.
