Chelsea are hoping to take advantage of the contract talks between Barcelona and Marc-Andre Ter Stegen.

The German goalkeeper and the Catalan club are locked in talks over a new deal.

But there are reports from Sport that the two parties are not close to an agreement over terms.

That means a window may be open for Chelsea to sign Ter Stegen in the summer.

The Blues are actively seeking a goalkeeper to replace Kepa Arrizabalaga, who has not impressed manager Frank Lampard this season.

Ter Stegen is widely seen as among the top goalkeepers in the world alongside Alisson Becker and Jan Oblak.
