Chelsea hero Ashley Cole admits he'd loved to have played with Hakim Zyech after his five-star performance in victory over Sheffield United.

The £38m summer signing was the difference-maker as Chelsea reversed a 1-0 deficit to dominate Sheffield United, floating over a glorious ball for Ben Chilwell to seize the lead before his pin-point cross allowed Thiago Silva to head in.

"When Ziyech gets the ball on his left foot it begs for runs, he's such a talented boy," Sky Sports pundit Ashley Cole said.

"If I was playing with him I'd always be looking to get in behind.

"I would love to play with someone with that quality. I had the pleasure to play with Lampard who used to find me in behind.

"But as soon as Ziyech opens up and gets it out on that cultured left foot, I'm making runs behind because he's got a wand of a left foot."
