Chelsea goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois believes that the Blues have enough quality among their ranks to trouble Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League encounter.

The two teams will meet in the first leg of their Round of 16 tie at Parc des Princes on Tuesday night and despite the gaping difference in their domestic league positions, Courtois is confident the Chelsea attack can do some damage in the French capital.

He said: "I'm sure it'll be like the game here last year. We'll have to defend well, but also we'll have to show our quality when we have the ball and try and make in-roads as an attacking side ourselves.

"Last year we had a difficult game here as well. With (Angel) Di Maria they've added quality to their team.

"In the league they're doing very well and will win it. It will be a difficult game for us, but hopefully also for them.

"We have the quality to cause them problems."

PSG are currently 24 points clear on top of the Ligue 1 table while Chelsea are 12th in the Premier League, 20 points off the lead.
