Chelsea goalkeeper Robert Sanchez has declared he plays for the best team in the country.

Sanchez left Brighton last month for the Blues.

He told the club's website: "It's a dream come true to play for the best team in England and one of the best teams on the planet. It's an unbelievable feeling to finally get to this level. It's what every player works for, their whole life.

"It's difficult to get here, but now I'm here I need to take the opportunity and try to become the player I know I can be. There have not been many number ones for Chelsea over the years, so now I'm the one I'm trying to do my best, trying to get everything out of myself.

"With the help of the manager, team-mates, and the work I do in training, I want to do great for the club and become one of these legends everybody is going to remember."
