Chelsea fullback Reece James: This squad capable of winning every trophy

Chelsea fullback Reece James has rejected their doubters after this season's massive signing spree.

James spoke to Football Daily ahead of the first-leg of their Champions League round 16 tie with Borussia Dortmund.

He began, "It was an unusual game against West Ham. We played well, but we could have done better. I don't think we should have draw, it was a bit tough. Over time we will get stronger and we will grow. Draws will turn into victories."

How was the market experienced?

"The transfer window is one of the things I hate the most because the January period is always so full of games and then there are the transfer rumours, it's all a bit too much in one month."

What do you think of the new purchases?

"I really enjoy playing with new players, you don't really know what to expect from them. The sooner they feel comfortable and settle down, the quicker they can maximize the help they give us."

Why such fluctuating form?

"I don't think there's a trophy that Chelsea can't win. When that will happen, I don't know. With the team we're building, the structure, all the young players... I think we'll be one of the best teams in the world."
