Chelsea fullback Marcos Alonso could be on the verge of a move back to his native land if rumours are to be believed.

The 28-year-old was an unused substitute in the club's Europa League final win, and Atletico Madrid are hoping to lure him back to LaLiga.

Despite the impending departure of Maurizio Sarri from Stamford Bridge, Alonso wants out and has been waiting for the two clubs to agree on a deal.

Current Atletico fullback Lucas Hernandez is moving to Bayern Munich this summer.

Veteran Felipe Luis, a former Chelsea player, is also in line to leave Wanda Metropolitano before the beginning of next season.
