Chelsea fullback Reece James was delighted to be called into the senior England squad a fortnight ago.

James is shining on-loan at Wigan this season.

He told the Mirror: “It was a great experience training with England's first team with the likes of Harry Kane and Dele Alli, players like that.

“It was good to see Callum (Hudson-Odoi) as well. I know him very well because I've played with him for many years now coming through the Chelsea academy so there was nothing that surprised me about him when we met up again for England.

“He can go as far as he wants. It's down to him. He has got everything. I wouldn't say no to following him one day into the England team. That would be a dream."
