Chelsea fullback Emerson Palmieri is interesting AC Milan.

Calciomercato.com says the left-back, 24, could be heading back to Serie A after his agent met with Milan chiefs on Monday.

Emerson has struggled to nail down a regular place in Chelsea's starting XI following an £18m switch from Roma in January 2018.

The Italy international has featured just 13 times in the Premier League under Maurizio Sarri and former boss Antonio Conte.

But despite ousting Marcos Alonso from defence in the last few matches, Emerson could be interested in a fresh start.
