Chelsea fullback Marcos Alonso says England shouldn't be down after their defeat to Spain.

Alonso has urged England fans to keep the faith, despite making it three consecutive losses with defeat to his Spain side on Saturday.

He said: “Yes, definitely, definitely. They are very good.

“They have very good conditions, quick, lots of quality, young players. I think Gareth and his team are doing a great job. We saw in the World Cup how well they did.

“Saturday also was a very tough game for us, but as I said we are very happy for the win."
