Juventus general manager Beppe Marotta believes Juan Cuadrado has plenty to prove at his new club.
The Colombian winger has joined the Bianconeri on a season-long loan after failing to impress at Chelsea following his transfer from Fiorentina in January.
Cuadrado arrived in Turin earlier this summer amid apprehension and uncertainty from the Juve faithful and onlookers alike but Marotta is confident he will shine for the Old Lady, just like Carlos Tevez and Andrea Pirlo have in the past.
"I do see analogies between the arrival of Cuadrado and those of Tevez and Andrea Pirlo, as they too were signed amid scepticism and did great things," Marotta told Corriere dello Sport.
