Chelsea find Rudiger alternative as Juventus willing to sell De Ligt

Chelsea are reviving their interest in Juventus defender Matthijs De Ligt.

Contract talks with Antonio Rudiger are continuing to stall and Chelsea are starting to make alternative plans.

The German will be able to sign a pre-contract agreement with a foreign club in January, with Real Madrid and Bayern Munich interested in his signature.

Thomas Tuchel has been a fan of Netherlands stopper De Ligt for several months.

And Juve would be prepared to sell the 22-year-old if they do not qualify for the Champions League this season, per Calciomercato.

The Bianconeri could also cash in on Federico Chiesa, who has also been linked with Chelsea.

Max Allegri's side are currently seventh after an inconsistent start to the season.
