Chelsea face Inter Milan competition for Atletico Madrid defender Diego Godin.
Godin is regarded highly by Chelsea boss Andre Villas-Boas and was the subject of a bid from the Londoners last January.
The Uruguay international is under consideration at Chelsea if they decide to send Alex on-loan to Juventus.
Inter are also interested in the 25 year-old, who is tied to Atletico until 2015.
