The Atletico Madrid midfielder comes off contract next week and El Mundo Deportivo says he will return to Chelsea in a Bosman deal.
Now 33, Tiago had a year with Chelsea under Jose Mourinho during the 2004/05 season.
The midfielder admitted after the Champions League final that he'd made a decision over his next move, though as yet there's still no confirmation about a return to Chelsea.
