Chelsea are confident they can land Exeter City starlet Ethan Ampadu ahead of London rivals Arsenal.
The 16-year-old impressed the Blues in the Checkatrade Trophy when the Grecians beat the U23s 3-2 in October.
The Daily Mirror is of the belief that Chelsea feel they can seal a £2million for the talented youngster despite the fact his father is Kwame Ampadu, who is U18s coach with the Gunners.
Devon-born Ampadu already has nine outings for Exeter's senior side and has represented Wales at U19 level.
