Chelsea are emerging as favourites to land Stoke City's 16-year-old Dutch scoring sensation Mohamed Sankoh.
The Daily Mail says the clamour for Sankoh is growing, with Atletico Madrid joining Chelsea in the transfer race for the talented Stoke youngster.
Sankoh has impressed at Stoke's academy after scoring nine goals and registering nine assists in his 16 appearances for the club's Under 18s, inevitably leading to interest.
Blues boss Frank Lampard and Atletico's Diego Simeone have been keeping an eye on Sankoh and have approached the forward in an attempt to recruit him into their academies.
Lampard has the upper hand in transfer negotiations after establishing himself as a manager who has no fear in giving his Chelsea youngsters their chance to make an impact at Stamford Bridge.
