Chelsea defender Thiago Silva is in talks with Fluminense.

Off contract in June, Thiago Silva is yet to hear from Chelsea about new contract talks.

Italian transfer expert Nicolo Schira is reporting Flu are in contact with the veteran and talks have been held about bringing home to Brazil.

Schira stated on social media this morning: "Fluminense dream of Thiago Silva's return and have opened talks with the agent of the centre-back (P.Tonietto) to try to complete the deal next summer.

"Silva's priority for now is still Chelsea, which will discuss the possible contract extension until 2023 in the next weeks."
