Chelsea defender Matt Miazga claims that it's always a huge deal for US football fans when major European teams come to the country for friendly games.
The United States defender, who used to play for New York Red Bulls, will head back to his home country with Chelsea next week for their US tour which will take in high-profile matches against Liverpool, Real Madrid and AC Milan.
"It is huge when big European teams come over to play friendlies in the US," the 21-year-old told the club's official website.
"When Chelsea came to New York last year the Red Bull Arena was all blue. The English Premier League is huge in America, everybody supports a team and when the teams come everybody flocks to that city and tries to watch them and look at the stars.
"It's good for the sport growing and for the league as well."
